For the first time tourist to Venice, one of the most important criteria about finding a place to stay should be location. The reason is you do not want to spend half your time sitting in a taxi (which are quite expensive all over Europe). One of the best places to stay in Venice is the luxurious Hotel Danielli. The hotel is infact a combination of 3 gothic Venetian palaces of the old days. The hotel is better described as a palace. Once inside, the opulence and richness of Italian architecture are quickly evident. Despite having traditional furniture and ancient Italian hand crafted ceilings, it offers all the amenities of a modern day hotel. Everything at the Hotel Danielle has been done with style and luxury in mind. The entrance to the hotel reminds one of aristocracy and nobility. The hotel has 221 guest rooms and twelve suites, all of which are tastefully decorated. Each of the rooms has a unique design, soft woven rugs, printed Murano glass chandeliers, decorated high ceilings and classic Italian furniture. While all rooms have an exquisite view of the outdoors, the lucky few who get a room with a balcony can get to enjoy the splendid Venice Lagoon.

Even though the hotel caters to family and tourists, it also is an important destination point for many business travelers. The hotel has a number of banquet halls and offers all the latest equipment for conferences, wedding receptions and special events.

Inside the hotel one can eat a sumptuous meal at the restaurant Terrazza Danieli. While the meals are delicious, the view of the lagoon in the evening is even more glamorous and romantic.

Being an older hotel, the Danieli does lack some indoor social facilities like indoor sports, or entertainment center. However, just next to the hotel is a private sports club where one can swim or exercise.

If the hotel is filled with splendour, then what you will find is that the service is even more warm and courteous. The concierge will go out of his way to make your stay very pleasant. The hotel has made an attempt to make available some rooms for the disabled and pets are allowed. The only negative of the hotel is that there is no parking. But being centrally located, everything is within walking distance. Hotel Danieli offers the perfect romantic escape for both the young and old. Enjoy this hotel and get treated like Royalty.

Cheap Berlin Hotels Five Star

It's a great thing the notoriously minimal German humorous character does not interpret to its top-end accommodation. The 5-star hotels in Berlin are among the best and most fairly priced anywhere in the world.

Low on chortles

In fact this brings to me a fascinating point about 5-star hotels in Berlin, or any other hotel actually. To me, this is disappointing. Why else would they ask me to enjoy my stay here at the uniquely decorated Palace hotel in Berlin? Yet I fork out hundreds of extra dollars for an enticing, ornamented, wonderful, and opulent room, as well as free use of the thermal baths, sauna, and solarium, but have a thoroughly dour time!

Not even at the best of the 5-star hotels in Berlin, the Adlon Kempinski, can I get a giggle out of any one except for the janitors. I suppose it has something to do with the hotel's really significant, aristocratic history. I could employ a heavy iron pinch bar, but even that in the hand of a 200-pound pro-wrestler would barely be sufficient to bend the corners of the staff's mouth into a little upward half-smirk. What do I have to do to get a giggle around here?
