Hotels in Bangkok- Bask in luxury at a royal hotel in Bangkok

When it comes to finding hotels in Bangkok, there is no shortage of places that you can choose from. There are plenty of average hotels, and many more luxury hotels that don't have as extravagant prices as you think. Make sure that you take the time to check out all of your options and don't sell yourself short because you think you can't afford a luxurious hotel. With the affordability of a vacation to Thailand, hotels in Bangkok are definitely going to be within your budget. Whether you choose the five star resorts or the three star basic hotels, there is something for everyone when it comes to hotels in Bangkok.

Because Thailand still has a monarch, many hotels are named after royalty. These royal hotels in Bangkok are perhaps the most luxurious places that you could stay on your vacation. Staying here is definitely worth the investment if you're looking for a luxurious vacation. Hotels in Bangkok may seem expensive but in truth they are relatively affordable. Just imagine spending around US$50 a night and getting all the benefits of a five star hotel.

With the prices of vacations in Thailand being so affordable, it is no wonder that so many people seek out hotels in Bangkok for their vacation. Even those who come on a medical or dental vacation can find affordable amenities within the city to allow them to get the dental work done, and it may cost much less then what they pay for service alone in another country. It doesn't matter whether you travel for need, pleasure, or even business, because you can find great hotels in Bangkok as long as you know where to look.

The best way to describe Thailand is exotic, but that doesn’t mean that the hotels in Bangkok are not modern and state of the art. Thailand gives you the ability to enjoy ancient charm along with modern convenience. The only difference is that you won’t feel like you are paying for the luxury that you are actually getting at royal hotels in Bangkok. This is why Thailand has been gaining in popularity lately amongst people from across the globe.

Thailand has always been a popular vacation destination, and has been growing in recent years. You can find it many different things to see and do while you're in the country, and since you're going to save so much money on hotels in Bangkok, you can afford to do so much more than you thought. Take the time to see what's out there, and you should have no trouble finding a great hotel for you, whether it is one of the royal hotels in Bangkok or any other of the many wonderful hotels in Bangkok that you have to choose from.

Enjoy a Hotel Break With a Difference

Hotels may have begun by simply offering the weary traveler a place to lay their head at the end of a busy day, but in the interests of attracting more visitors, some hotels have upped the ante, opting to become a major tourist attraction in their own right.

If you're looking for a really cool place to stay, you can't go wrong with an ice hotel. These are temporary structures made up entirely of snow and ice, which attract visitors interested in novelty and unusual environments. The first and most famous ice hotel was built in Sweden, but there are now several other ice hotels in Scandinavia as well as in Canada and Romania. Visitors eat from plates carved from ice, drink from ice glasses and sleep on ice beds lined in deer furs which keep them cosy through the night.

If you hate the cold, but don't mind getting wet, then why not try diving beneath the ocean for an underwater hotel experience. There is currently only one underwater hotel in existence - the Jules's Undersea Lodge in Florida, which is more of a working research station with rooms to rent, rather than a fully fledged hotel. Scuba certification is mandatory and the front door is 21 feet underwater. However, the world's first luxury underwater hotel is being built in Dubai, which will offer guests who do not dive - or even swim - the chance to sleep with the fishes, in this extravagant project that began construction in 2005.

Getting cold or wet is not to everyone's taste, and if you're looking for a stay that is out of this world, then you may soon be able to look down on earth from your hotel room. Genesis 1, the first step in the construction of a habitable complex in Space, was successfully launched into orbit in 2006 and is the start of the Bigelow Aerospace mission to build an affordable human space complex that will be accessible by the commercial section by 2015. Not only would a space hotel offer guests incredible views of the Earth and the Moon, it would also offer the endless entertainment of living in zero gravity.

Of course, it may be many decades before space travel is cheap enough for any typical person to afford, so if the ice has melted, you can't scuba dive or you just want to keep your feet planted firmly on Planet Earth, you can still enjoy a wholly unique experience at some of the world's top hotels. Swap the novelty factor of ice hotels and underwater abodes for a touch of opulence with a stay in a luxury hotel in Belgravia, London, for example, and you're sure to enjoy a memorable experience that really is out of this world!
